Let the Spring Season Begin! (Salty Dawg)

I kick off a very busy spring boating season today aboard Bruce Lowther's Salty Dawg. We were hoping to head over to the Abacos with his family to enjoy spring break, but the weather gods didn't see it that way. Off-shore forecast is pretty sloppy for the next several days, so we will make lemonade out of lemons. We will take Bruce's 441 south to Boca and then down to Key Largo and the Ocean Reef Club. We hope by the weekend the seas calm down a bit and we can head over to Bimini for a few days before heading back to Jacksonville.

I can't begin to tell you how long I have waited for this day. I left NC this morning in a dreary rain, fog and temps in the mid-30's with some snow on the ground. I arrive in Jacksonville to sunshine and temps in the 80's. Yippie!!!!!! I am very much looking forward to the trip with Bruce and his family. We plan to shove off tomorrow morning. I have some really interesting trips on my schedule that keep me busy until Memorial Day weekend.
